So, what News from The Stitch Society, well, it’s all been quite quiet here for the last month or so as we have been beavering away getting ready for the next few shows.
Whilst the weather has been cold and wintery, we have been working away talking with new people, trying new ideas, looking at new designs and fabrics and collaborating with other like-minded folk.
One of these is Laura who runs From Britain with Love who and whose passion and experience as an ex magazine editor, is vital in helping to promote the UK’s best makers and creative workshops. You can browse their Directory to source hand-picked craftspeople and creative courses around the British Isles or read their DISCOVER, MAKE and MEET blog features to find inspiration. Their intentions to help you make your life simply beautiful and we are delighted to be part of their work. You can read more about us by clicking HERE .
We have also been involved with a fabulous new website for Gardeners called Creeper and Knotweed who contacted us about our aprons. We have a few styles listed with them and will be working on a new gardeners apron for them in the near future so watch this space.
For us, our business is all about working with others, looking for new ways to improve our aprons, new fabrics, new ways of making the aprons and most of our new designs come from ideas or suggestions from our customers. We have new aprons listed this month including an expansion of our usual ranges with different fabrics having tested a twill towards the end of last year, we loved it so much that we have introduced it for most aprons in Black and Khaki.
We also have a new, mid length apron called Doris – a shorter version of the Martha apron but still with our big pocket.
As ever, all our aprons are designed and handmade in Yorkshire from UK sourced fabrics and all have free UK mainland delivery.
