This weekend, we were lucky enough to be at the Selvedge Spring Fair in Bath. Held at The Assembly Rooms on Bennett Street, the setting was fabulous and the lovely sunshine made Bath even more beautiful.

We met some fabulous people, both stall holders and customers. In particular Annabel Lewis of the ribbon emporium, VV Rouleaux, who are opening a shop in Bath – lucky Bath!
I have always been a huge fan of VV Rouleaux and it’s beautiful ribbons, flowers and all manner of goodies,(www.vvrouleaux.com) so it was lovely to meet Annabel.

We were opposite Henri, who make gorgeous shirts and jackets in organic cottons and I was lusting after their shirts all day and only just managed to resist.

I failed miserably to resist the ludicrously comfortable big black pants from Project Picotheir ethos behind their products is fascinating and beautifully explained on their website.

So a big thanks you to Bath, The Assembly Rooms, Selvedge Magazine, the others stall holders and anyone who came along to say hello, and
a particularly huge thanks to my patient, ever helpful and supportive friend Ros who helped on the day, for making the weekend such a lovely experience.

Our next event is the Festival of Making in Blackburn on the 6th and 7th May so if you missed us in Bath, or are based anywhere near Blackburn, come and say hello at this FREE family festival celebrating British making and manufacturing.
