With Christmas and the New Year a few weeks away, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. We have had a wonderful time getting to meet people at shows, sending out orders and developing our little range of goodies.
This year we have been trying out all sorts of different aprons and have condensed our range for the future, this does mean that we have a number of samples that are just as gorgeous as all our aprons, but we thought that we could pass them on, so we will be having a sample sale next week, with most aprons at ridiculously low prices. This will only apply to the sample on offer and as loyal subscribers, you will be notified first of the sale before it goes on social media. so, if you’ve had your eye on something, now would be the time to let me know!
Now, I know it’s only November but Christmas is creeping up on us slowly… and with this in mind, I thought I would spread the word of a lovely Christmas Star workshop being run by Claire Ketteman of the Embroiderers Guild. The workshop will teach you how to create a fabulously-glittery gold star, as featured in the picture here, using traditional hand stitching techniques that will make a perfect topper for your Christmas tree.
The workshop will teach a range of skills for surface decoration and is suitable for all abilities. All materials and equipment will be provided, so just come along and enjoy some quality stitching time. The project can be completed in 2 evening sessions or one full-day session on either Saturday 26th November 10:00 – 3:00 or you can spread the workshop over two Wednesdays on the 23rd and 30th November from 6:30 – 9:00pm.
The cost is £45 and it is running in Claire’s studio, Keighley Business Centre, Knowle Mills, South Street, Keighley BD21 1SY.
If you would like to book please contact Claire on 07904 010430 or email@example.com to book a place.
If you are wanting to order any Stitch Society goodies for Christmas, please be aware that our last date for ordering will be the 18th December, before we take a little break for the holidays.
