James Green is an artist and printmaker based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. He specialises in linocut and screen-print, and has been working in print for around sixteen years now. His subjects range from landscapes to UK wildlife to abstract pieces and surreal donkey compositions. Outside of his personal work he has created commissions for people like English Heritage, The Hepworth Wakefield, Abbeydale Brewery and Paul Smith Menswear.
These items are a collaboration between James and The Stitch Society, thanks to a grant from the Sheffield Cultural Consortium. The artwork is a repeat pattern created from one of James’ linocut prints, with his common theme of donkeys having a mysterious adventure.
