  • MAKE 19

As a festive treat each year, the Devon Guild of Craftsmen curates the UK’s best contemporary crafts to help with Christmas shopping and craft cravings. We are delighted to have been asked to submit our work for their MAKE 19 exhibition.

With my parents living close by in Exeter, I know the Guild well and have often visited so am delighted to be able to take part. We are showcasing Yorkshire woollens from Marton Mills in Otley and handcrafted leathers from ce leathergoods in Hebden Bridge. The exhibition runs from Saturday 16th November until Sunday 5th January 2020 in the Jubilee Gallery at the Guild in Bovey Tracey.

The annual exhibition has handmade pieces by hand picked designer-makers. The variety of materials and range of prices make it an ideal place to purchase a thoughtful gift for someone special. Their craft shop will also have plenty to help you get ready for Christmas, with a delightful selection of Christmas cards, wrapping, decorations and gifts, as well as the great variety of unique crafts handmade by their Members.

Thank you for taking time to read our Pocket Book for 1st November. We love to hear your stories and please let us know if there is anything you would like featured in the Pocket Book. Have a good week.
