We will be offering Pattern Drafting classes again in our Mantra House Studio in Keighley from June this year. Our classes will show you how to draft your own patterns for skirts, trousers, tops and combined garments such as coats, jackets and dresses. We work with students to make their own projects, in their own time and working at their own level.
We advise on projects, how to measure correctly, pattern manipulation and how to lay and cut your patterns. With over 20 years experience in sewing and garment making, we can help you make your clothes fit you like a glove.
The classes are run in our Mantra House studio in Keighley on a Monday evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Our spacious studio has a large cutting table, all the tools required as well industrial machines if you’re feeling brave! Mantra House has it’s own well lit car park and the building operates a secure entry system. Places are limited to 4 per class to ensure that you have all the tuition you need to make your pattern fit perfectly.
Each pattern has their own class length:
Skirts 3 weeks, Trousers 4 weeks, Bodice 4 weeks.
