Looking for sustainable workwear that not only looks stylish but is also functional?

At The Stitch Society, we are dedicated to creating beautiful sustainable artisan workwear made using high-quality, sustainable materials sourced in the UK and designed to last.

Good workwear, without waste, made with the future in mind.

Sustainable Fashion Week

The Stitch Society have partnered with Bradford College of Art to be the Bradford Hub for Sustainable Fashion Week from 23rd September until 8th October at a variety of venues throughout the district.

The events are designed to challenge current overconsumption and helping people to have a more sustainable relationship with fashion by sharing skills and knowledge. Our main theme is to help people to reconnect to how clothes are made and to develop healthy relationships with our clothes through reuse, mending and altering to fit.

See our Sustainable Fashion Week page for all the events, how to book and where they are. We hope to see you there.

The Florist Khaki Cotton Canvas Apron

Our Aprons

Aprons were the first garments we made. We now make a range of different aprons for different uses and body shapes. All made in our durable fabrics with our attention to detail, made to last with our 10 year repair guarantee. These aprons become old friends to wear and treasure for many years.

The Navy Linen Smock

Our Studio Clothing

Our Studio Clothing range is based on workwear principles and made in the same quality of fabrics as our aprons. Simplicity and comfort are the key factors when designing.

For everything we make we look at the waste fabric and the offcuts are made into useful products such as pencil cases, lunch bags and purses. We use natural fabrics so they will last, can easily be repaired and can be recycled at the end of their life cycle.
