Tools of the Trade at The Stitch Society

One size fits all?

We do our best to ensure our measurements are standard i.e.: chest, sleeve, inseam, and garment lengths. All details of the size of garments are given on the product page. If you have a concern with a particular measurement, please email us at orders@thestitchsociety.com.

The Stitch Society clothing comes in small, medium and large and more information on sizing can be found HERE.  However, depending on individual bodies and the different cuts of garments, this can vary slightly. It’s always safest to measure yourself.

We take care with the design of our aprons which will adjust to fit a variety of body shapes and heights. Our clothing can be altered for the perfect fit.

I want something a little different, can I place a special order?

If you require a particular size, fabric or detailing please email us at orders@thestitchsociety.com for details of any additional costs involved.

Bought in a sale? Can I return it?

Yes, we aim for you to enjoy wearing our aprons and clothing for as long as possible but if you find that over time, you no longer wear it, please get in touch and we can discuss our return and restock options where we will offer a voucher or replacement for a pre loved garment. The voucher or replacement value depends on our assessment of the item once we have received it and discussed it with the purchaser.

Can I send it back?

Our returns policy can be found here.

Keeping it looking good?

Looking after your apron will not only extend its’ life but will allow you to enjoy it longer.

Our products can all be hand or machine washed as long as you look at the label to see the temperature specified on the care label.

Hanging out to dry is always the best option, but if you must throw it in the dryer, only tumble on setting and not at all if your apron is linen.

We beg of you not to wash or dry with high heat as this will alter the properties of the gorgeous fabrics we have lovingly chosen.

Do I have time for ironing?

If ironing is your thing, then take your time for a pristine finish, alternatively a quick smoothing out straight from the line or dryer will render your garment socially acceptable.
